Time of Panic
Work was created in 2008. For the first time was presented at the exhibition the Subfebrile State accompanying COP14 in Poznan.
It is a collective portrait of a generation brought up in a culture of fear. Video shows a specific ritual, usually played in the comfort of a private space. Light coming through the window is a glare allowing to see anything and at the same time likely cause panic of characters.
There are many different ways of dealing with fear. In this case, all choose the most natural and least effective way. Little bit autistic behavior seems only to deepen the growing excitement. Twin similarity in the scenes shows the simultaneity of these events.
