The Balance
Work was created in 2009. For the first time was presented at the exhibition Erased Walls, accompanying the twentieth anniversary celebration of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
The Balance video depicts a middle age man in overalls who performs a symbolic demolition act. The post-industrial surrounding of fallen shipyard refers to the historical fact: in Poland the shipbuilders where the leaders of the liberation movement in the early eighties. Nowadays this industry doesn't exist any more because of troubles during political system transformation
